On Friday, April 8, students in Miss Nellie’s, Mrs. Polster’s and Ms. Truxall’s classes will be going on a field trip to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum . Note coming home today. Permissions slips due on April 6. This trip is an all expense paid field trip!!!! Cost=$0.
Students may purchase 4 tickets for a $1 from me. Students will write his/her name on each ticket and place it in the bag in front of the basket he/she would like to win. The drawing will be on Thursday. Good Luck!
Wednesday of next week will be Dress Up as your Favorite Character from a Book.
Monday, March 21 will be Word Game Day! Students may bring in a favorite Word game. Please do not send electronic games.
This Friday, March 18, we will be having a Read-In. The children are allowed to bring in a bag of favorite books from their home, a blanket/sleeping bag and a pillow. We will spread out on the classroom floor, listen to music, and read for about 45 min or so.
Tomorrow will be “wear shirts with words” for March’s Reading Month. Thanks!

Remember to send in donations of books, reading activities, puzzle books, etc soon. We will make baskets and have a raffle at the end of the month to raise money to honor our 2 staff members who’ve passed away. I’ve only had one family donate so far and would like to add more to the collection. Thanks!
