Next week during our Science time, we will be studying insulating materials as part of our Properties of Matter Unit. All students need a clean pair of old socks as part of the activity. Please send your child with these socks on Monday. Thanks!

The 2nd graders will be having a math test this Thursday. I will be sending home a practice test today. Please take some time with your child tonight or tomorrow night to work on these concepts together or apart. Check over your child’s work and please keep this practice test at home. I do not need them returned. Thanks!
On Monday’s I will be sending home a Book Bag with 2 books or 1 chapter book. Please have your child read and practice the books for the week. Return the Book Bags on Monday. I will refill them on Mondays only.
Journal for homework!!
Tonight’s homework will be Fact Sheet. Next week Tuesday and Wednesday, September 27 and 28, our class will be doing the NWEA testing. Please be sure your child has a good night’s sleep the night before and has a full breakfast the morning of the tests. Thanks!
