We are tentatively scheduling a walking trip to the Helm’s Haven Park on Heinz Drive this Wednesday afternoon around 12:30 depending on weather. No need for permission slips as we took care of this in the fall. We would appreciate some chaperones to come along. Let me know if you are interested. I’d estimate we’ll be at the park a couple of hours. Again this is weather dependent and will have a clearer picture tomorrow. Thanks!

Book-it calendars are due for March. March is the final month of this program but please continue to have your child read for 20 minutes a day.

On Monday , March 30, the 2nd grade math group will be having a test. Study guide will be sent today. Happy studying.
Tomorrow, in the gym, we will be reading “under the stars”. Students may bring books from home, a pillow,a blanket and a flashlight too. Should be a fun time!
Fact Sheet homework will come home on Tuesday, March 24.
Next week, report cards will be sent home. On Thursday, March 26 we will be having conferences for those families that I’d like to see. I am sending a sign-up sheet and an email to those that I’d like a meeting with. I am also sending a note that says to some families that we do not need to meet at this time unless you find it necessary to talk with me about your child’s progress. Thanks.
