Our field trip to the Leslie Science Center is this Thursday. Permission slips and money were due today. I have several students who have not returned either. We have a project in mind for all of our wonderful mothers. Please help us by sending in a small, clean, glass jar for your child. A jelly jar, salsa jar or small pickle jar will work beautifully. Baby food jars are too small. Please send in by this Wednesday. Thanks!

Dearborn Public Schools plans 2 field trips a year just for the 2nd graders. Our first will be this coming Monday, May 4 in the afternoon at the Fire Safety House. All 2nd graders from our class, Ms. Polster’s class and Mrs. Keebler’s class will be going by bus. Ms. Polster will be taking them. My 1st graders will stay back in class with me. Please fill out permission slips and return them by Monday. Slips came home today. Thanks.
On behalf of the Howe PTA we would like to thank the parents who brought Early Bird vouchers in this week. We would like to encourage everyone to continue to obtain more sponsorships for the Walk & Roll-a-thon.
Let’s make this happen for our students. Since the school has moved we haven’t had a fundraiser so this one is very important to keep the PTA going and fund events throughout the school year. Such as assemblies, Montessori materials, training and many other classroom needs. Raising money now allows us to start our next school year with the needed funds to do all this.
Let’s do this together and make our school and education for our students stronger. As parents at Howe we let our children lead the way to their future. We as parents we show how to step up and make it happen!
