Yesterday a note about International Night came home about when to arrive and what to bring. Let me know if you didn’t get either notes, I have more. Please practice lines at home!
On Tuesday, June 9 our class along with Keebler and Polster’s classes will be going on an all day field trip to the Detroit Zoo. We will be taking buses. Permission slips will be sent after Memorial Weekend.
There are a great and I mean great number of items on two tables in the hallway that the children have lost. If your son/daughter has lost something, please come check out the Lost and Found. I believe if items aren’t claimed, they will be donated to charity. Thanks.
Our annual International Night is coming soon. It will be on Wednesday, June 3 around 6p.m. here at Howe school. We are studying Ancient Greece. A note came home with your child today explaining International Night and your child’s lines for the play. Our class will be presenting the Needs of People and some interesting facts about the Olympics. It truly is a fun and exciting night for all involved.
Leslie Science Center did not charge money for adults therefore I am refunding your $6. Please look in your child’s folder tonight for the envelope. Thanks again for chaperoning.
2nd grader Math group will have a test this Wednesday, May 20. Practice tests coming home today.

Lots of fun activities for everyone in the family including Robotics, Challenge activities and the Boy Scouts will have a recruiting table with Pinewood Derby cars.

Our field trip is tomorrow from 11:45 until around 2:30ish. Chaperones, please arrive by 11:30. Chaperones, please look in your child’s folder tonight because I have a more detailed note about our trip. We will be outside the whole time. Luckily the weather looks fine but it is Michigan in the spring so please be sure your child is dressed properly for 67 degree weather. No shorts or sandals since we will be in the woods. Thanks
