Conferences Coming Soon- Sign-Up

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be coming on Thursday, November 12, Wednesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 19.  Most parents signed up at the Open House last month, but if you were unable to attend, please stop by the classroom this week.  I will post the Sign-Up sheet outside the room.  You can pick or change your day and time.  If you are unable to come to the classroom, email me your choice of day and time and I’ll do my best to give you the closest day and time available.  At the conference, we will discuss your child’s report card, NWEA results, classroom performance, behavior and any questions about your child’s progress.  Looking forward to seeing you and discussing your awesome child!

Book-It

The month is ending.  Please send in your October calendar for Book-it. Remember, students must read 20 minutes per day.  You or your child can put an X on the days he/she read.  Sign it and return the calendars next week.  Pizza Hut coupons will be rewarded to those who turn in the calendar. November calendars go home on Monday.  Happy reading!

Halloween Party Candy Needed

The PTA will not be serving snacks during the Party time.  They have asked each class to bring their own candy to pass to the students.  I have lots of volunteers from our class that are willing to help with the party but haven’t heard about donation of candy.  If you are willing to donate, send the candy tomorrow please.  Thanks!

PTA/Mr. Borg Halloween Party this Friday

Hello,

Today, we discussed our Fall Party planning with Mr. Borg.
Mr. Borg is planning physical activities, and PTA is planning entertaining activities for every grade.
We need no more than 4 parents volunteers from each classroom to enter from the cafeteria door at their child’s party time. Also, it is up to the parents to bring treats for the class. We are not serving any food, like cookies of juice.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Maya

Halloween

Dear Families,

On Friday, October 30, Mr. Borg with the help of the PTA, will be hosting a morning Fall Party in the gym.  Due to the school’s lack of changing facilities, we prefer students not to bring/wear costumes to school.  Instead, students may wear his/her favorite fall outfit. Examples include, black and orange, skull shirts, etc.  No masks, make-up, or weapons.

Thank you,
