As a school, the teachers have decided to stamp a student’s work that needs to be finished at home with a homework stamp. The work not done in class could be due to an absence or the student didn’t finish in time, etc. We will also provide a line for you, the parent, to sign the paper before it is returned. Thanks.
Due to the half day on Friday, January 27, we will have the math test on Thursday, January 26.
Every Tuesday until the end of the year, we will have library check-out. Most students keep their books in class but if your child brings them home, be sure to send them back Tuesday mornings. Thanks!
Grades 2-5 will be attending a field trip to Cranbrook on Wednesday, February 8. This will be an all day trip. More information will come soon.
Next Friday, January 27, 2nd graders will have a math test. I am sending home the practice test today. Please know that some of the skills on the test have not been introduced yet. Some skills are review from last unit. Work on the practice test over the next few days but be sure to revisit before Friday of next week. Thanks!
It is that time of year again when we will begin the NWEA testing for Winter scores. We will test on the mornings of Tuesday, January 24 and Thursday, January 26. Please be sure your child rests well the night before and has a healthy breakfast before school. Please arrive on time for we will begin at 9:00.
December’s Book It is due today and through the end of the week! Get those calendars in for your Pizza Hut Coupon and prize at the end of the school year.
Just a quick reminder of the homework that is expected from each child.
Read every night for 20 minutes.
Certain assignments will be sent home if not finished in time.
Fact sheets will be sent home for homework twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Journal will be assigned on Tuesdays and Thursdays for homework.
Study for Spelling Tests on Thursday nights.
