Dear Parents,
When packing your children’s snack/lunch in the morning, please make sure to pack the necessary utensils that they may require. The forks, spoons, napkins and straws in the cafeteria are for those students who are purchasing a hot lunch only. We hope that you understand. Thanking you in advance for your help with this matter.

On Thursdays, I will be sending home a book bag with 2 leveled books for your child to practice reading throughout the week. Please return the bag every Thursday, and I will refill it with new books. Thank you!
Last call for socks. Each student needs one pair of clean socks for our science experiment this week. Please send in a pair tomorrow. They will be returned after the experiment. Thanks.
Hello PTA members! We are having a popcorn sale this Friday Oct. 13th at dismissal (1/2 day @ 11:45am). We need parent volunteers at both front doors and back doors to help us sell! Popcorn will be bagged for you, sold for $1.00 per bag, and you only need to stay after school until the kids are all gone (usually 30 minutes tops). If you are able to help, please email us back or let your child’s teacher know!
We will soon begin a lesson on hot and cold. Please send in a clean pair of socks for your child to use. Send the socks by Friday, the 6th. Thanks!
Students will begin a reading program called Book It. Your son or daughter participated in this last year. Please have your child read 20 minutes each day, color in the day on the calendar and return at the end of the month. Your child will then get a coupon to Pizza Hut for a free, individual pizza! If your child can complete all the months through March, he/she will receive a special prize at the end!!! A note and October calendar will be sent home today.
This Friday, September 29, students will have a math test. I am sending home a practice test today for your child to complete and study from. These practices tests can stay at home. Thank you and happy studying!
Yesterday, students had a substitute teacher. I had Jury Duty. Not all the Fact Sheets and Spelling Lists were passed out yesterday. I will be sure they get home today. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Tuesdays is Library Check-Out. If your child brought a book home, please return it on Tuesday. The Library is not open any other day. Thank you.
