Math Test
Yesterday I sent home a practice math test. The math test will be next week Monday, March 12. I can send home a practice test answer sheet if you need it. Email me please. Thanks.

This week on Wednesday, the students are allowed to bring in a Word Game that is not electronic. We will play these games at the end of the day. Thanks
Friday is Reading Jogs Your Mind Day! Wear your favorite jogging suit.
March Reading Month homework will be coming home today. It is called “Read for the Gold!” and is a month long homework assignment. See Communication Folders today.
Book Bags and Spelling
Last Thursday, I sent home the student’s classroom book bags that they read from each day during Daily 5. It has been requested that books are sent home daily as opposed to once a week. I am willing to send home their classroom book bags but they’ll need to be returned daily due to lessons. Thanks.
Spelling test will be tomorrow, Monday, March 5 due to the snow day. Please have your son/daughter prepared. Thanks
Field Trip
On Friday, March 23, Ms. Truxall’s class and Mrs. Keebler’s class will be going on a field trip to the Michigan Science Center. All expenses paid by the school. Permission slip coming home today!
Green Team Logo Contest- Please Vote
Hello Everyone,
The Green School is having a Logo Contest, to create a logo for the Green Schools. They have drawn their logo and we would like help voting on them. Please vote yourself and or have your class vote.

Class List
Class Lists are for Valentine Cards!! If you don’t use the list, please return it to me. Thanks!
Valentine’s Day
Next Wednesday, February 14 is Valentine’s Day. Students may bring Valentine cards and a piece of candy to pass to each child. I will send a class list home so your child can write each student’s name, or your child could just sign his/her own name and leave it blank. Some of the children have asked to make a box to put the cards and candy in. I usually give our paper bags to decorate and fill those but I am fine if your child wants to make a special box at home and bring it that day. Thanks!
