For those of you that attended the Open House back in September, you signed up for conferences then.  I am send you a conference confirmation notice today.  Please look for it in your child’s red Communication Folder.

For those that did not attend Open House, I am sending you the dates of the conferences and available times.  Please pick your 1st and 2nd choices and I’ll do my best to place you at that time.  Return the form asap to reserve your day and time.  Look for this note in your child’s red Communication Folder.

Please send me an email if your child is not going on the field trip this Wednesday. Please also tell me if your child is still coming to school or staying home. If your child comes to school he/she will join another classroom for the day. Thank you

Next Wednesday, October 24 is our field trip to the Children’s Museum in Ann Arbor.  I still have quite a few students who have not brought in the permission slip.  There are a couple of students that gave me a slip but didn’t include money.  Please have these items in as soon as possible.  Thank you!  Email me if you need a new permission slip.

Friday, Oct. 26th – Kindergarten has no school, & Monster Mash Dance 6-8pm (SignUp Genius is out, please help out!)

Mr. Borg our gym teacher, will be giving a Fall Party for all the children on October 31.  He will be in need of parent volunteers and donations of candy/treats.  The party will begins at 12:30 to 1:15 for the lower grades and 1:15 to 2:00 for the upper grades.  I’m sure he’ll want you there earlier than 12:30 for set up but he didn’t give me a time yet.  If you are interested in volunteering, please email me and I’ll let him know.  Thanks so much!

Next week on Wednesday, October 17, our class will have a math test for Module 1.  I am sending home a practice test today for you to go over with your child.  The practice test does not need to be returned.  Thanks.
