Yesterday was our first try with the new video conferencing platform. We had several problems with sound and features not working properly. After talking with other teachers, I discovered they had issues too. Later in the day, the district sent an email explaining the amount of people using this video conferencing exceeded its capacity. Those in the Technology Department are working very diligently to increase that capacity. So for the time being, I am cancelling further video conferencing until all the “bugs” are worked out. My plan now is to send 2 videos next week of me reading a book and assigning a couple questions. I’ll post these videos on Google Classroom.
