Welcome to Fifth Grade

Dear parents,

Welcome to fifth grade at Salina Intermediate! I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher and I know this will be an awesome year. This is my second year at Salina Intermediate. I’m excited to be teaching fifth grade this year.

I want an open communication between us. If at any time you have a question, I will be happy to talk with you. Either, write me a note, give me a call, or email me and I will try to respond as soon as possible. I want you to feel well informed throughout the year. Classroom expectations are:

1. Listen and follow directions
2. Raise your hand before speaking or leaving seat
3. Respect your classmates and your teachers
4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
