Apr 4th Food Distribution During Spring Break

During Spring Break,  lunch and breakfast distribution will continue at Fordson High School. 

You can also go pick up breakfast and lunch at Unis Middle school, Woodworth Middle school and Salina School.

Spring Break schedule:  April 6 to April 10.Only on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
From 10am to 12pm.

Parents please keep your kids at home. During the mandated shut down, all school playgrounds & athletic fields, will be closed to the public.  If you are found on the property you will be asked to leave.

Mar 26th Attention All Students

Check your email regularly. I will be sending an invite for a google hangout session to meet with you and classmates in your grade virtually once a week. It is really cool and easy to use!

I will send you an invite and directions for how to get in and setup.

Mrs. Charafeddine will be joining as well. We are very excited!!!

Mar 26th Next Week Food Pickup Schedule

Dearborn Public Schools is offering free pickup lunch and breakfast for students while school is closed for the mandatory shut down over the next few weeks.

Families will be able to stop in and pick up a bag with both breakfast and lunch for each child in the family.  Pickups will run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon at Fordson, Edsel Ford, Dearborn high school, McCollough-Unis, Salina Intermediate, and Woodworth Middle School.

Mondays, students will receive breakfast and lunch for Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesdays, students will receive breakfast and lunch for Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Fridays, students will receive breakfast and lunch for Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Mar 23rd 6th Grade Math This Week 3/23 – 3/27

**CHECK OUT MS. MCCARTHY’S GOOGLE CLASSROOM FOR MORE i-READY INFO**

1. i-Ready: Complete 6 NEW i-Ready lessons and quizzes by Friday, March 27th. You will have 12 total (6 from last week, 6 from this week). YOU MUST PASS THE QUIZ IN ORDER TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT LESSON! If you fail a quiz more than once, it will LOCK YOU OUT of that lesson.
2. Khan Academy: Work on the Khan Academy Mission. You should be at 80% by the end of this week, 90% by the end of next week, and 100% by the end of the following week (Sunday, April 12). (I assigned some new assignments to help increase the percentage!) **Go to Google Classroom, scroll down to March 17th, and click the Google Doc I posted for explanations and examples for these assignments!**
3. IXL: I have starred all of the assignments that 6th graders should be able to do. Many of you are preparing for the Advanced Math Placement Test. Completing all of the starred assignments will help students prepare for that test.
4. Grades: I am submitting report cards for MP3 on Friday, March 27th. All assignments must be completed by then.

Round 2 chromebook pick up for our Lowrey families.This is only for Lowrey Students! If your family does not have a working computer and is in need of a chromebook then please come to Lowrey’s main doors, tomorrow Friday March 20th between times of 12:30pm to 2pm. 
 If you already picked one up, please don’t come again.  One chromebook per household!
 All parents will need to sign a consent form to insure chromebooks will be returned in the same condition they were given. All parents and students are responsible for the chromebooks. They must be returned once students return to school.
