Celebrities of the Day!!!

Students reviewed and applied their knowledge of literary terms by identifying an example from their good fit books. They should have finished drawing pictures to accompany each of their literary terms in their Literary Elements flip chart. The pictures are to help them better understand and remember each term.

Students also completed their testing practice worksheets entitled “Strange and Stinky’ and “Friend of the Everglades”. They were to apply the R.A.T.E technique and Stoplight method to understanding the text and answering the questions.

Homework:

If students did not finish drawing pictures to accompany their literary terms, this should be done by tomorrow.

Students also must complete both the “Strange and Stinky” and “Friend of the Everglades” worksheets if they did not complete it in class.
