Celebrities of the Day!

Today students completed the Close and Critical District Assessment. This assessment reviews theme, author’s craft, and text to text, self , world connection and summary. Great job everyone!

We have just completed a unit on research. Mr. Blake’s class wrote a Cause and Effect essay about pollution, and we worked on citing evidence, and creating a Works Cited List in Language Arts.  This was a new skill for most students, and it was a lot of hard work! I saw a great deal of effort by all!

The Book Fair begins next week. We will be going as a class on MONDAY!

Students may also pay a dollar to wear a hat on Monday for St. Patrick’s Day! This money will be donated for Relay for Life.
