Dear 6th grade students,
It’s almost that time again – M-Step is just around the corner! We will be taking our test very soon and it’s important that we all do our part in doing our best on this important test!

In order to begin our preparation, over the break we would like you to attempt the M-Step Practice test. Follow the directions below to earn full credit for attempting this first step:

1. Go to: https://wbte.drcedirect.com/MI/portals/mi

2. Click on the SAMPLE ITEMS SET then click on 6TH GRADE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS

3. Follow the directions given to log in

4. Print out the page (or take a picture/screen shot and email it to your teacher) that says “Congratulations! You have completed Grade 6 ELA”.

******************You MUST do this step in order to get credit.*****************************

This will need to be completed by Monday, April 10, 2017 and will be worth 10 SUMMATIVE points.

ALSO, please do Read Theory for 20 minutes a day. (If you happen to not have access to internet service make sure you read your “GOOD FIT” book that is the appropriate LEXILE level.)
