Happy New Year! We started discussing the difference between mood and tone yesterday and started an activity where students had the opportunity to practice the new skill. Today we continued with mood and tone and applied it to our new novel The Giver. We began by reading the introduction to the novel and will start reading chapter one tomorrow.
