Celebrities of the Day!!!

Students worked on the counterargument paragraph and conclusion paragraph of their argumentative essay. At this point the students should have the rough draft of their essay completed.

They were also given vocabulary words to define and draw an example of for the next story they are going to read in the Literature book entitled, “All Summer in a Day”.

Homework:

Students were given new reading logs. Read for 20 minutes and fill out and sign reading logs.

Finish counterargument and conclusion if it was not completed in class.
