Celebrities of the Day!

Today we worked on discussing and practicing author’s purpose. We did a class review and power point on author’s purpose, and then the students completed a gallery walk with different pieces of writing. They had to distinguish what the purpose was for the writing and then give textual evidence to support their purpose.

HOMEWORK: 5 DAYS OF READING LOGS ARE DUE ON MONDAY. STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST 2 COMPLETED AT THIS TIME.
