Good morning Vikings!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. As more spaces open their doors and the weather gets nicer, I know it is getting more challenging to focus on school. We are almost there my friends, just another few days to go. Finish strong, contact your teachers as needed to complete missing work, and please attend last minute BBB meet ups. We, your teachers, have missed seeing your faces these last almost 3 months. The end of the year is a time to celebrate all you have accomplished and a chance to say good bye for the summer. We are missing that chance this year and it is painful. You are wonderful people and you will be missed. I am so proud of everything that you have done this year. We have gone through something that no one in a hundred years has experienced and have continued to learn and teach like no generation before. We make a great team Vikings. Here is your last calendar of the year. Enjoy this week and your summer vacation. It is well deserved.

Good morning Vikings!!! I hope that you all had a restful weekend and enjoyed whatever way you celebrated the holiday. If you celebrated Eid, I hope it was meaningful. If you celebrated Memorial Day, I hope that you took some time to remember those that gave their lives in the pursuit of freedom. This is another short week for us, so please make sure to check for variations in the schedule to accommodate this. We have about 3 weeks left in the school year, let’s finish strong.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for a shortened week. I am attaching the weekly calendar to keep you on track. Please look for some meeting times that have been moved since we do not have school on Friday. As always, feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.

Good morning Vikings! Happy May 4th and welcome to a new month, a new week, and hopefully some nicer weather is on the way. I am attaching the calendar for this week, please make sure that you are on the look out for any changes that teachers are making. We are switching over to Big Blue Button on ilearn which can be found on the the Dearborn Schools websites. Please check in with your teachers so that we know that you are keeping up on the work, need any help, and maybe just a quick check in to let us know how you are passing the time when you aren’t working on assignments. Good morning Vikings!! I’m so excited to share the link for the Smith Virtual Book Fair. You have some time on your hands and maybe you would like to fill those hands with a new book. Use the link to create an account or log into your existing account to look at the books available for purchase. As with all the book fairs, Smith gets a percentage of your purchase to help stock our library with new books. I know I can’t wait to look around a pick out a new title or 2.

Good morning Vikings! I hope that you had a good weekend and took some time to recharge and spend quality time with your family. I know that I was able to get outside and enjoy some warmer weather. Here is the new calendar for this week. As you know, there were issues last week with some Google hangouts and we have been instructed not to use it for right now. Please check the calendar and Google Classroom for the way that your teachers will be conducting class this week. Some teachers have meetings set up on Big Blue Button, while others will be recording and posting lessons and holding office hours in a alternate way. As things evolve and the teachers gain more guidance, we will update you. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
