Students have been working hard with training to increase their cardiovascular fitness by running laps around the track everyday in class. Students have also been working on abdominal strength, arm strength, and flexibility. This week students will be working on agility by doing stations working on reaction time and foot speed. All of these exercises are to get the students ready for Fitness Pretesting next week.
The fitness tests include:
Mile Run (Cardiovascular Endurance)
Timed Sit Ups (abdominal strength)
Pull ups (arm strength)
Sit and Reach (flexibility)
Shuttle Run (Agility)
Students will be pre testing all of these fitness tests next week!

All students should have brought in a locker and been assigned a locker in the locker room.
All students should have turned in the Syllabus with the understanding of class rules and expectations.

First day of changing clothes for class. Students were also set up on iLearn for my class and were given a Fitness Pretest to see how much previous knowledge they already know related to the subject of fitness.

In Physical Education this week all students are learning the rules and expectations of the locker room and beginning to get assigned lockers in the locker room.
** Students who have not brought in a lock need to do so by tomorrow Friday September 8th.
We will begin changing for class next week the week of September 11th.
