U.S. History 4.15.20

Day 18: Today you will be investigating the assassination of President Kennedy and the conspiracy theories surrounding JFKs assassination. go to google classroom and watch video 7.4.2. Then go to ILearn and read both power points JFK Assassination Day 1 and Day 2. Finally complete and submit one of the two CERs attached to the daily agenda below. Pay attention for an extended learning opportunity later in the day. If you have a chance it is definitely worthwhile to watch the videos on the Zapruder film (very graphic, only video captured of the actual shooting of Kennedy) and The Curse of the Kennedy’s (interesting look at how many members of the Kennedy family have tragically died or been killed).

As you choose from the options below please remember that I use edited versions of these films in class so there may be some content that is for mature audiences. Please select two of the movies from the list below and complete one movie review for each (the first review is due Wednesday and the second is due Friday, or watch the History Channel series The Men Who Built America and complete the attached worksheet.

Go to google classroom and watch 7.4 The Space Race and 7.4.1 JFK Assassination (they’re both short). Then complete the Chapter 20.2 Guided Reading Questions. Finally complete and submit assignment #9 the 7.4 assessment and CER on the agenda below.
