History Through Film 3.23.20

Day 6: Howdy y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Thank you to all of you who have stayed on track and continued to learn about our country through watching movies. The next two weeks we are heading out West to look at some cowboy and indian (Native Americans) stories. So giddy up and look below to make your choices for this week’s films.

Select any two movies to watch this week. Then write a movie review for each and submit both movie reviews by Friday. No 6 squares this week.

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (I show this every year), I Will Fight No More Forever (I watched this in history class in high school), Dances with Wolves (very long but an academy award winner for best picture), Geronimo, Crazy Horse, They Died With Their Boots On (my dad made me watch this when I was a kid), Son of the Morning Star (great series about Monroe’s George Custer).
