Language Objectives:

Students will write to solve questions about momentum, impulse and collisions using complete sentences, CER, and GUESS method during whole class review.

Bell Work:

  1. The impulse-momentum relationship is a direct result of which Newton’s Law of motion?
  2. When an object falls on the ground, the force of that object depends on what?
  3. Two objects moving in opposite direction collide and stick, what happens to the velocity after the collision?

Exit Ticket:

Which type of collision is shown below? Defend your claimwithevidenceand reasoning.
