Hi Everyone,
I’m sure you were worried about the fact that I didn’t post yesterday’s assignment/attendance check in question, right?! Are you noticing that all of the days are running together and you can never remember which day of the week it is lately!? I’m sick of my phone so I don’t even want to check it, and then when I look at the calendar, I don’t even know which day I’m supposed to be looking at!!
I’m missing having some sort of schedule to follow to kind of keep me in line. Breakfast has become lunch, lunch is dinner, and dinner is a midnight snack! I’ll be working on things and realize that it’s already 8 p.m. and I haven’t even had a cup of coffee!
I hope you are all doing alright and that your families are healthy and safe. I’m not going to post an assignment for yesterday (4/15). That will just be a free day. Today and tomorrow, I’m just going to post an attendance question for you all to check in.
The district is working on a plan for how the rest of the semester is going to, and we are working on getting the details so that we can provide them to you. I know many of you are asking questions about grades and assignments and such. Once I get those answers, I will pass them on to you.
I will say this. Beginning next week:
- we will have scheduled Google Hangout meetings/”office hours” so that we can touch base, discuss any work, and for me to answer any questions you may have. I know that neither you or I want to spend all day, every day on the computer, so I will come up with a schedule that works for all of us.
- I will be reworking the way assignments are turned in. I’m sure you’re being bombarded with emails from all of your teachers each day and it gets overwhelming. I can barely keep up with all of the emails I get. I want to try and reduce that for both of us, so I’m working on that as well.
