Hi everyone! Hope you’re doing alright. The weather was great Wednesday, and then we got back to the Michigan normal.
I know things are getting frustrating, not being able to get together with your friends and extended families. However, we all need to do our part. Please make sure that you’re staying home, not getting together with groups of people, going to the parks, or having gatherings. Use FaceTime and video chats with your friends and family (you now have a legitimate excuse to be on your phones more!!) I’ve seen so many people who are playing games virtually…video chatting and playing Uno with other people! We need to be thankful that we are being asked to stay in the comforts of our own homes and, for the most part, with the people we love! (Or can at least tolerate to be around). If you need a minute for yourself, sit on your porch, walk up and down the block, open your front door and take in a breath of fresh air!
My younger daughter, who has been fighting with me since she could talk about wanting a tablet or a phone, says to me last night, “Mom, I never thought I would say this, but I’m sick of technology…I’m bored with the Chromebook, tv, and movies.” Yes!!!
For today’s assignment, submit your journal entry about what you did yesterday. Make sure you’re following the guidelines. Put some thought into it. Some of you are doing great. Some of you are just throwing some words and thinking I’ll be okay with it. Nope!!

I’m keeping track of all of these responses and journal entries in MiStar. You’ll see them in there with a grade, however, the grade has not been averaged in. Once we figure out how we’re going to handle online learning, I can easily go back in and add it in, or delete it (depending on what we hear from the district and the State), so keep working.
Most responses for the video chats were for the evening, but I did have a few for the a.m. I decided I’ll do both. I’m going to work this weekend on trying to put the chat together, and then I’ll send the links out for you to join in.
