There will be no online learning during spring break next week. Students will start their online assignments after the break.

Raz-Kids is a very useful online reading program that enhances students’ reading skills. Each student will be assigned books according to their reading level.

To log in:

1. Click on this link https://www.kidsa-z.com/main/Login
2. Enter or choose the teacher’s username, fawazs

3. Your child finds his or her username on the class chart

4. Your child enters his or her password, which is your child’s ID number

In addition to Epic, students can go to Raz-Kids and enjoy reading.

Good morning parents,

This week students will be working on week 3 of online learning. Please have your child do all the online work. As I said, they can print the work or write the answers on a separate notebook. Writing prompts will be posted on Google Classroom. The science article for this week is “The Food Chain”.

Few students need to finish the assigned writing prompts of the last two weeks. Please email or call if you have any questions.

Henry Ford Elementary School students can send their pictures each day during SPIRIT WEEK to 313-451-1766. Doing so will grant permission to post to the schools social media.

HFES Families can call 313-451-1766 as the temporary school number during this time. Leave a voice or text message from 9am-4pm & assistance will be provided. 

You can text photos or videos of your child working from home to 313-451-1766 to share on our building social media. We want to celebrate HFES Broncos learning!

I just want to remind you that for this week students have to finish the science article “living things and their habitat” on Google Classroom. They also should do the writing prompts for this week on Google Classroom as well. I reassigned the “food chain” article, as the first one did not include the question sets.

They should also finish the lessons that are online for this week. Thank you!
