**TOMORROW IS VALENTINE’S DAY!**

Your child may bring in valentine’s for the gifts. NO cupcakes, just small valentines are fine πŸ™‚ They will also need to bring a bag to collect their own valentines in.

I passed out the homework packet for the break. They have a packet to complete AND a map of their bedroom to draw. This is NOT due until February 24th. Please have your child WAIT to start this homework until tomorrow! They already have homework for tonight πŸ™‚

I will also be passing out a valentine gift to the students tomorrow along with NEW books to read over break. Please make sure your child comes to school!

Online Homework: Students should be practicing on E-LEARNING PATH FOR 20 MINUTES! This website is connected to their NWEA score and is great Reading and Math practice. Students should do 10 minutes of reading practice and 10 minutes of math practice. Your child knows how to log in but just in case they forgot, follow these steps.

1) Go to https://dearbornschools.org/student-portal/
2) Students click Clever
3) Students log in with their username and password. For their username you will have to put β€œ@dearbornschools.org” after their 20 number if it is not working. Their password is their birthday. I placed a yellow card with their log in inside all reading bags.
4) Students click the big E for E learning path

*~Reminders~*

– Parents: Do not forget to sign your child’s planner πŸ™‚ PLEASE ONLY SIGN YOUR CHILD’S PLANNER IF THEY DID THEIR HOMEWORK! Homework is not a choice in first grade, we learn a lot of new skills daily. Your child should be reading and completing their spelling homework every day.

– Snack: Nadia has snack tomorrow!

Please message me if you have any questions.
