I miss you all so much! This week I was able to connect with many of you. If you have not returned my email or phone call, please do so as soon as possible. I want to hear from you! I have recently updated the tabs in my blog to include the most recent News 2 You articles, resources from our Speech & Language Pathologist and OT, and I have linked our specials teachers blogs. Please check them out.
I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy. These past couple of weeks we have all had to change up our routines. Routines are important because they give us a sense of security and help us feel safe. We learn what is expected of us when we follow a routine. The predictability of a routine will help our young feel more confident which will lead to independence. Our classroom has many routines that we follow throughout the day. One very important part of our day is our Morning Meeting. After breakfast, we take the time to review our schedule for the day, look at the calendar, check the weather, answer the question of the day, and we move. Go noodle is our favorite website for movement, but we also find easy workouts on youtube. During this time, please think about keeping a routine. I have linked a short article here.
