Pick a chapter or a scene from “Tom Sawyer” and do a role-play on it. For example, you may pick the murder scene or the scene in the court room with Tom and the lawyer. Pick a partner to do the role play with. You may do it with a friend or a sibling. You need to do at least 10 sentences. You may do up to 20 sentences. You will get extra credit if you dress up and are funny. You can send your role-play from your phone to my email or you can post it on youtube and just send me the link. My email is powellw@dearbornschools.org This assignment will be due on March 20.

Defense Lawyer “Where were you on the evening of June 17?”
Tom Sawyer “I was at the graveyard sir.”
Defense Lawyer “And what were you doing at the graveyard?”
Tom Sawyer “I was trying to cure warts with a dead cat.”
