Today in class we did a processing activity on the characteristics of civilization (government, social, structure, religion, writing, art, and technology. Students had to design a museum exhibit about the Shang dynasty using one of the characteristics of civilization. Many students took this home to finish. This assignment will be graded on quality and effort. Please make it colorful and make sure it has an attention grabbing title. Also, make sure you label all three artifacts in your exhibit. This processing assignment is in your notes. Also, the chapter 20 assessment has been moved to Monday. Don’t forget to study.
Starting Tuesday, March 17 I will no longer be teaching my 2nd and 3rd period Eastern Hemisphere classes, however I will continue with my 0 period. I have moved into a full-time title one resource position, and unfortunately I couldn’t keep my current classes because of my new responsibilities in my new position. I have enjoyed my time with your children and I will miss teaching them. They are all wonderful students and I will cherish the memories. A new certified teacher has been hired and will take over.
