Elements of Plot and Point of View Test Friday, November 1st, 2019
We will finish our narrative unit this week with an application test that requires students to apply their knowledge of the elements of a plot diagram, types of conflicts and point of view to an unfamiliar narrative text.
Students will take a practice test on Thursday in order to become familiar with the test format.
Students should be familiar with :
Types of conflicts: External (character vs character, character vs. society, character vs nature) and Internal (character vs self)
Points of View:
First-person (I, me, my)
Second-person (you, your)
Third-person (he, she, they)
Know the three types of Third-person: omniscient, limited, objective
