Construct an explanation based on evidence obtained from our bacteria experiment, applying scientific ideas that we developed in lesson 11, to answer why some lines of descendants of a population of E.coli bacteria growing in different parts (different environments) of a Petri dish appear to be growing farther and farther into a zone of higher concentrations of antibiotics after each additional dose (patterns) of antibiotics.
WHAT WE FIGURE OUT – How bacteria react to a second round of antibiotics, status of the inhibition zone, connection with Addie’s case.
