Book Swap Leadership Opportunity!
Let’s Read!!!
As part of Snow Elementary Leader In Me Program, we are asking you, our fabulous students, to reach out in our community to help others. If you’d like to be a part of the Snow Book Share, simply go through your gently used books or magazines and donate them to our Snow School Book Share. Over the next 2 weeks organize your bookshelves at home and donate your unwanted books or magazines.
Then on May 1, 2 and 3, 2018 we will have a Book Swap before and after school. Each book will cost $0.25 and you can bring home new books to read.
Please bring your book donations to the bin in the office or outside Mrs. Bush’s office starting tomorrow. Leaders think Win/Win and by organizing your books and donating them you are giving a friend the opportunity to read something new. That is a Win/Win!

M-Step Testing Begins Tomorrow…Hooray!!
Good Afternoon 5th Grade Snow Parents and Guardians,
Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday April 10th, 5th grade students will be taking the M-Step state test. We will test this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings (April 10-12, with make-up tests on Friday. The students will be taking the ELA (English Language Arts) test which involves reading, writing, and listening. Math and science will be the week of April 16-20, and Social Studies will be the week of April 23-27.
To help our students be as successful as possible, it’s important they go to bed at a reasonable time, get plenty of rest each night, and eat a healthy breakfast the day of the test. Students are encouraged to bring a snack and a water bottle to school.
The students have worked very hard this school year, and I am very thankful they are committed to doing the best they can! They are going to do an amazing job!!
