Halloween and Cranbrook

A couple of points to note regarding Halloween tomorrow:

  1. Bring costume in a bag
  2. Only masks with LARGE eye holes will be be allowed, as we will be going up and down stairs.
  3. Treats are welcomed, we have 25 students
  4. We still need 25 balloons for an activity
  5. We still need a few roles of toilet paper for an activity.

Cranbrook: Our field trip to Cranbrook is next Wednesday, November 6th. The parents that will be chaperoning are the parents of: Sophia Nowak, Joseph Elmessiri, and Nour Said. Those who said that would like to go but weren’t chosen, will have a chance to go on future field trips.

October 28

We had a wet but fun couple days at camp! We hope you had at least one full dinner conversation listening to the highlights from your child! Pictures will be up downstairs in the main hall by conference time. Make sure to check them out with your child so they can tell/show you even more.

Behavior cards went home Thursday and/or Friday to be signed. Please make sure to chat with your child about their card when they show it to you. Students who had their card signed were able to participate in the playground obstacle course today.

The Halloween parade will be at 2:00 on Thursday with “party” following. We have 2 small games planned. We need a package of balloons (enough for 50) and 25 rolls of toilet paper. If you are able to send in either by Wednesday it would be greatly appreciated!

Also, don’t forget, Friday is 1/2 day and next Tuesday is no school due to election day.

Math-We are multiplying multi-digit numbers and it is NOT easy. Please help your child with homework this week, they are struggling more than usual.

Spelling: It looks like the week 6 spelling assessment will be on Wednesday. If your child has a spelling packet, please be sure to be working on it throughout the week and returning it on assessment day.
