Third Grade Lyrics “Forever Rock and Roll”

Surfin’ U.S.A.

If everybody had an ocean across the U.S.A.

Then everybody’d be surfin’ like California.

You’d see them wearin’ the baggies, huarachi sandals, too.

A bushy, bushy blonde hairdo, surfin’ U.S.A.

You’ll catch ‘em surfin’ at Del Mar, Ventura County Line,

Santa Cruz and Tressels, Australia’s Narabine.

All over Manhattan and down Doheny way.

Everybody’s gone surfin’, surfin’ U.S.A.

Everybody’s gone surfin’, surfin’ U.S.A.

Everybody’s gone surfin’, surfin’ U.S.A.

Yakety Yak

Take out the papers and the trash,

Or you don’t get no spending cash.

If you don’t scrub that kitchen floor,

You ain’t gonna rock ‘n’ roll no more.

Yakety yak.  Don’t talk back.

Just finish cleaning up your room.

Let’s see that dust fly with that broom.

Get all that garbage out of sight,

Or you don’t go out Friday night.

Yakety yak.  Don’t talk back.

You just put on your coat and hat.

And walk yourself to the laundry mat.

And when you finish doing that,

Bring in the dog and put out the cat.

Yakety yak.  Don’t talk back

Don’t you give me no dirty looks.

Your father’s hip; he knows what cooks.

Just tell your hoodlum friend outside,

You ain’t got time to take a ride.

Yakety yak.  Don’t talk back.

Yakety yak.

Southern Nights

Southern nights, have you ever felt a southern night?

Free as a breeze, not to mention the trees,

Whistling tunes that you know and love so.

Southern nights, just as good even when closed your eyes,

I apologize to anyone who can truly say that he has found a better way.

Feel so good, feel so good, it’s frightening.

Wish I could stop this world from fighting.

La da…..

Mysteries like this and many others in the trees,

Blow in the night in the southern skies.

Change The World

If I could reach the stars, I’d pull one down for you,

Shine it on my heart so you could see the truth,

That this love inside is everything it seems.

But for now I find it’s only in my dreams that I can change the world.

I would be the sunlight in your universe.

You would think my love was really something good.

Oh, if I could change the world.

And I can change the world.

I would be the sunlight in your universe.

You would think my love was really something good.

Oh, if I could change, if I could change the world.

Rock and Roll Is Here To Stay

Rock, oh, baby rock. Oh, baby rock.

Oh baby rock, oh, baby!

Rock and roll is here to stay, it will never die.

It was meant to be that way, though I don’t know why.

I don’t care what people say, rock and roll is here to stay.

We don’t care what people say, rock and roll is here to stay.

Rock and roll will always be, I dig it to the end.

It’ll go down in history, just you watch, my friend.

Rock and roll will always be, it’ll go down in history.

Rock and roll will always be, it’ll go down in history.

Everybody rock (4x’s)

Come on, everybody rock

Rock, oh, baby rock. Oh, baby rock.

Oh baby rock, oh, baby rock, Rock and Roll!
