Kindergarten Program “My Backpack” Lyrics

My Backpack

My backpack.  On my back.

My backpack.  My backpack.

For my stuff.  Just enough.

My backpack. My backpack.

Just for school.  It’s a cool tool.

Carry things. Favorite things to school.

Space for Jet.  He’s my pet newt.

In a jar.  He goes far, he’s cute!

My backpack.  On my back.

My backpack.  My backpack.

For my stuff.  Just enough.

My backpack. My backpack.

Just for school.  It’s a cool tool.

Carry things. Favorite things to school.

Space for Jet.  He’s my pet worm.

In a bag. He is glad to squirm!

My backpack.  On my back.

My backpack.  My backpack.

The Hokey Pokey

You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out.

You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.

You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around.

That’s what it’s all about.

You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out.

You put your left foot in and you shake it all about.

You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around.

That’s what it’s all about.

You put your right arm in, you put your right arm out.

You put your right arm in and you shake it all about.

You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around.

That’s what it’s all about.

You put your left arm in, you put your left arm out.

You put your left arm in and you shake it all about.

You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around.

That’s what it’s all about.

You put your whole self in, you put your whole self out.

You put your whole self in and you shake it all about.

You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around.

That’s what it’s all about.

Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush

Here we go round the mulberry bush,

The mulberry bush, the mulberry bush

Here we go round the mulberry bush,

So early in the morning.

This is the way we wash our hands,

Wash our hands, wash our hands,

This is the way we wash our hands,

So early in the morning.

This is the way we brush our teeth,

Brush our teeth, brush our teeth,

This  is the way we brush our teeth,

So early in the morning.

This is the way we comb our hair,

Comb our hair, comb our hair,

This is the way we comb our hair,

So early in the morning.

This is the way we put on our coat,

Put on our coat, put on our coat,

This is the way we put on our coat,

So early in the morning.

This is the way we wave good-bye,

Wave good-bye, wave good-bye,

This is the way we wave good-bye,

So early in the morning.

This is the way we go to school,

Go to school, go to school,

This is the way we go to school,

So early in the morning.

Here we go round the mulberry bush,

The mulberry bush, the mulberry bush,

Here we go round the mulberry bush,

So early in the morning.

Ten Little Frogs

Ten little speckled frogs,

Sat on a speckled log,

Catching some most delicious bugs, yum, yum.

One jumped into the pool,

Where is was nine and cool,

And there were nine green speckled frogs, glub, glub.

Nine little speckled frogs…..

Eight little speckled frogs…..

Seven little speckled frogs…..

Six little speckled frogs…..

Five little speckled frogs…..

Four little speckled frogs…..

Three little speckled frogs…..

Two little speckled frogs…..

One little speckled frogs…..

Down By The Bay

Down by the bay where the watermelons grow.

Back to my home I dare not go.

For if I do my Mother would say:

Did you ever see a goose kissing a moose?

Down by the bay.

Whale with a polka dotted tail

Fly wearing a tie

Bear combing his hair

Llamas eating their pajamas

Have a time where you couldn’t make a rhyme
