For this week, we have focused on point of view within our reading and writing. In our small groups, we have practiced identifying and creating point of view. Next week, we will have a point of view assessment for sixth grade and seventh grade. While this might appear simple at first, be sure to study, as 70% of your grade is based on assessments.
In addition to this, the seventh grade students are working in small groups to create comic strips using point of view.
Also, on December 11th (Monday), the sixth grade classes will be attending a movie. Permission slips and money were already collected.
Have a great rest of the week. As always, keep reading 20 minutes a night and filling in the reading response journals as we get closer and closer to the winter NWEA assessments which will take place after the Christmas Break.
