Good morning everyone,
This week is a four-day week as we do not have school on Friday, April 14th. We are beginning the testing season for NWEA and M-STEP. Here is how it looks:
April 18 – 21: 6th grade & 7th grade students will take the NWEA math test
April 25 – 28: 6th grade & 7th grade students will take the NWEA reading test
May 2 – 5: 7th grade students will take the M-STEP math test
May 9 – 11: 7th grade students will take the M-STEP ELA test & 6th grade students will take the M-STEP Math test
May 16 – 18: 7th grade students will take the M-STEP Science test & 6th grade students will take the M-STEP ELA test
I do not have the testing dates for the NWEA science test nor the NWEA language usage test.
It is imperative that each student gets a good night’s sleep and eats breakfast to give the necessary fuel to achieve the best test scores possible. As Mr. Farhat stated at the middle school assembly this past Monday, the NWEA scores, M-STEP scores, and grades for each class have an individual reflection, a school reflection, and a community reflection. Let’s continue to prove how well our students are doing by taking each test and class seriously. I am excited to see how each of my students performs on these tests.
