Good morning. This is a reminder that the 2nd card marking ends on Friday, December 4, 2015. If any assignments are missing or need correction, please do so prior to Friday and return to Mr. Drinkert.
Any assignments that are missing can be turned in, even from the 1st card marking. Also, please note that the grading scale per the Dearborn Public Schools is 80% of the grade for assessments (tests/quizzes) and 20% of the grade for assignments (classwork/homework). It is imperative that each student does the daily work to be successful on the assessments. After each assessment, I offer a retake, but each student is responsible to complete a couple of assignments prior to the retake.
The current research shows that repetition helps students retain information, which will create more success on the assessments.
