Good afternoon everyone,
This week, we will be focusing on the narrative text features, such as character, setting, rising action, climax, falling action, conflict, type of text, and theme. There will be an assessment on Thursday, November 17th. It will be a cold-read and each student will fill in the plot diagram.
Please continue to read 20 minutes a night and record a reading response entry for each night. The goal is to increase reading stamina and increase critical thinking skills.
Wednesday, November 16, is a late start. Classes for the middle school begin at 9 a.m. Also, it is pajama day at school.
For the seventh grade and eighth grade students, girls swimming and boys basketball tryouts are beginning.
