Good morning.
This week, we will continue our focus on the argumentative essay, then practice creating an argumentative essay in small groups. It is important to commit to memory the features of this essay as we will be having a post-assessment in February.
Also, please continue to read 20 minutes each night, along with completing a reading response journal entry. Each Wednesday, one reading response journal sheet (four reading response journal entries) is due.
As it stands now, the reading portion of the NWEA will take place on Monday and Tuesday, October 3rd and October 4th.
