This week we focused on the text features of non-fiction (informational) text. We read a newsela.com article about Volkswagen emissions testing.
7th grade had a field trip to the Ford Rouge Factory tour. This was very successful. Kudos to the 7th graders in attendance.
6th grade is preparing for their field trip on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Howell Nature Center. Permission slips must be completely filled out and returned by Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Any student that has been suspended will be required to have a parent/guardian attend the field trip.

Monday, October 26, 2015 from 3:15 PM to 6:15 PM
and
Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 3:15 PM to 6:15 PM
The conferences are on a first come first served basis. You may pick up the report card in the cafeteria on either of those days.
