Here is our school paper!
As per the Governor’s order we are now doing digital learning on Google Classroom or ILearn and the grades are live again and counting for the final cardmarking. PLEASE check your teacher’s Google Classroom and/or ILearn and complete the assignments daily as the grades do count until the school year ends on Thursday, June 11th 2020.
I will be submitting graded assignments from Google Classroom into Mistar as graded starting April 13th. Use this week off to catch-up if needed. New assignments will post starting April 13th until June. Stay safe, wash your hands, and do those assignments 😉
It looks as if grades will be submitted and counting as soon as we get back from Spring Break April 6-April 10. Therefore, I would advise all students to be caught up on all missing work by April 13th, 2020 as we will be counting distance learning.
As a reminder the grab & go meals are available from 10:00-12:00 from the following locations: DHS, FHS, EFHS. Salina Inter. , Woodworth, and McCollough/Unis. Starting on Monday 3-23 OL Smith will be added to the list of schools distributing meals.
Chromebook distributions will continue today on Friday 3-20-2020. All schools will have had one distribution day, a second day may be offered by building Principals depending on need. If you are still in need of a Chromebook please contact your school’s building principal.
The number for the public to call for questions and support from 9-4pm (Monday to Friday) is 313-827-3006 and the email is email@example.com
You can skip the MIStar Parent Connect and go straight to the courses. Have your student go to their Google Classroom page and for each class on the Stream you can click on “View All” in the bottom of the box on the left and it will show you all of the student’s assignments for the class. If it has a grade it is done, if it says assigned then they should put time aside (30-50 min. for each class) to work on it, if it says missing in red then it is late and is currently hurting their grade in the class. The missing assignments need to be done ASAP 😉
