Hello First Grade Families,                                                      12/9/13

On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, our class will be visiting the school Holiday Gift Shop.  Students have the opportunity to buy gifts during this time.

Reading and writing lessons continue to focus on realistic fiction.  Students will plan and write their own realistic fiction story.

During Math, we will be reviewing Unit 3 lessons.  I will send home a review page for the test this week.  We will be reviewing counting pennies, nickels and dimes; frames and arrows; finding sums of ten; and telling time.

Social Studies lessons will continue to include learning about places and reading maps.

Science lessons continue to include the study of animals.

Reminders:  Read for homework 15 – 20 minutes daily; Gym on Friday; Return library books Friday; Late Start Wednesday, December 11, 2013
