Hello First Grade Families,                                                        11/25/13

On Tuesday, students can bring a board game to play at the end of the day.  We will have a small treat and play board games .  We will be on vacation beginning Wednesday, November 27 and return to school Monday, December 2, 2013.

Spelling test booklets will be sent home today.  Please sign and return the spelling test booklet.

Reading homework will continue to include 15 – 20 minutes reading daily.

During Math lessons, students will continue to learn about odd and even numbers; count by 2’s, 3’s, 5’s and 10’s; identify patterns; count money and continue practice telling time.

Social Studies lessons focus on learning about places and reading a map.

Science lessons include study of animal life cycles.

Reminders:   Friday – New PE (Gym) day
