Hello First Grade Families,                                                      11/18/13

During Math lessons, students will continue to learn about even and odd numbers; count by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s; identify patterns; count money; and continue practice telling time.

Spelling booklets will be sent home today.  Please sign and return the spelling test booklet.

Reading homework will continue to include 15 – 20 minutes reading daily.

During Social Studies, students are learning about places.  Please have your child practice writing his or her address.

Parent / Teacher Conferences will be on Wednesday, November 20 and Thursday, November 21.  You will receive your child’s report card at conferences.

Reminders:  Thursday – wear gym shoes.  Friday – Return library book.
