Dear First Grade Families,                                               10-9-17

Spelling booklets will be sent home today.  Please sign and return the booklet.

Unit 2 Math lessons will include number grid and number line counting; counting using a ten frame;  measurement;  counting money; addition; subtraction; and number stories.

The First Grade Parent Meeting is on this Thursday, October 12, 3:45 – 4:30 p.m.   We will discuss curriculum and expectations for first grade.

The field trip money is due this Friday.

Friday, October 13, is a half day of school.  Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.

Please make sure your child is reading at home for homework 15 minutes or more and completing the reading log that will be due November 1.

Reminders:  Return library books on Monday.  Wear gym shoes on Wednesday.
