Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a nice holiday.    2016 will be a great year of learning for students.

Spelling booklets will be sent home today.  Please sign and return the booklet.  Please continue to make sure your child is doing the spelling homework.  This really helps to prepare them for the spelling test on Friday.

I am sending home a reading log for January.  Please continue to make sure your child is reading 15 minutes or more daily for homework.

Unit 4 Math lessons include measurement; addition; subtraction; telling time; counting money and counting using a number grid.

Social Studies lessons will focus on Economics.  Students will learn about goods, services, producers, consumers, needs and wants.

Science lessons continue to focus on the sky, seasons and weather.

Reminders:  Wear gym shoes on Monday.  Return library books on Friday.
