Dear First Grade Families,                                                        3-10-14

March is reading month.  Please encourage your child to read and participate in our reading challenge.

Spelling booklets will be sent home today.  Please sign and return.

The Unit 5 Math test will be on Tuesday.

Science lessons will focus on stormy weather and ways to stay safe during a storm.

Social Studies lessons continue to include the study of economics.  We will study government soon.

Writing lessons include informational writing.  Students will read articles and learn to summarize information.

Reminders:  Read for homework 15 minutes or more.  On Friday, we will have our Spelling and Math computation tests, gym and return library books.
